Taj mahal tour by train superfast gatimaan

New Delhi

Your tour will begin with a pickup from your desired location in Delhi between 6:30 AM and 7 AM. Pick-up will take place from any hotel in Delhi / NCR or from the Delhi airport.

Nizamuddin Railway Station

After picking you up from your hotel in Delhi, our driver will take you to the Nizammuddin Railway Station, assist you in finding your train coach, and ensure that you are seated comfortably. Your train will depart Agra at 8:00 a.m. and arrive at 09:50 a.m.

Taj Mahal

Your train arrives at Agra Railway Station at 9:50 a.m., and our guide will meet you outside your train coach, carrying your name on a sign board. From here, you will visit the Taj Mahal, a monument of love built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.The remainder of the history will be explained by your tour guide. Spend around 3 hours in the monument.

Agra Fort

After the Taj Mahal, you will visit Agra Fort, a huge red stone monument created by the Great Mughal Emperor "Akbar". This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Agra that was erected in the 16th century and contains various palaces inside, including the Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan e Aam, Pearl Mosque, and many others, all with views of Taj Mahal.

After viewing Agra Fort, you will take a lunch break. You will enjoy lunch at a five-star hotel in Agra.

Itmad-ud-Daula

After lunch, you will continue your tour in Agra. You will be Itimad-ud-Daulah. The mausoleum of I'timād-ud-Daulah is commonly recognised as a draft of the Taj Mahal, often described as a "jewel box" or the "Baby Taj". Please keep in mind that this is an optional building for those who have the time.

Mehtab Bagh

After viewing Baby Taj, you will go to Mehtab Bagh, commonly known as Sunset Point. Explore the Taj Mahal's rear vista from across the Yamuna River. This site is ideal for photographers who enjoy capturing images. Please keep in mind that this is an optional building for those who have the time.

Nizamuddin Railway Station

Later, at 05:00 PM, we will drop you off at Agra Railway Station, where our guide will assist you in finding your train coach and ensuring you are properly situated. Your train will leave Agra Railway Station at 05:50 PM in the evening. Your train will return to Delhi Station at 07:30 PM, and our driver will be waiting for you outside your train coach.

New Delhi

Pick-up from your train coach in Delhi when your train returns to the station, and then sit in your air-conditioned vehicle. Our driver will drop you back to your hotel or airport in Delhi/NCR.
